My,my, it sure has been quite some time since I've been to DA.
A year or two I guess.
Not that much to tell actually. I haven't done anything at all. Squandered what little talent I had over the years. Doing literally nothing.
Now I'm miraculously studying Communication Design since two semesters.
(I have absolutely no clue how I managed to beat the other 170 applicants)
And I'm reaping what I sow with being a lazy fuckup for the past four years. Not putting an effort into anything and just letting the years fly by has thrown back so far in terms of drawing, typo- and photography that I have to work my ass off to catch up with the others. Don't even get me started on the other stuff.
Anyway,
I've decided to stop being a sad fuckup and be an awesome fuckup instead.
So currently I'm polishing my rusted drawing skills, get my typography a bit up to date, start storing actual knowledge in the empty library that is my brain, and never go out without my camera. Heck, I even got a few shots of mine published in magazines and started building my own lenses and do some experimental photography.
I've still got a lot of catching up to do with 20 years of laziness I guess, but every step I'm doing counts.
If all else fails I'll just screw my original plan of working as an art director in an ad agency and just go for ad writing instead. Since thinking up catchy phrases for useless junk no one wants to buy has always been one of my bigger fortés.
